First time coming here - psyched. Have been to other clubs downtown that all had dress codes. What is not acceptable here? What is the norm?

1st Ave has the most accepting dress code of any night club in town (one of the reasons I love it!).
If you can get away with walking infront of the cops on the street wearing it, they're not likely to hassel you at the door for it.
Some shows MAY make you check spikes or chains, but other than that, I haven't heard of any dress code issues from 1st ave.
